Besiktas Makes Final Offer for Mohamed Salah's Transfer

Besiktas have pushed their pursuit of Mohamed Salah as far as they are prepared to go. Now they wait.

Club president Serdal Adali has confirmed that the Istanbul side have submitted what he called their “final official offer” to the former Liverpool star, placing the next move firmly in the Egyptian’s hands.

Speaking to Turkish outlet Ortacizgi, Adali laid out how long and detailed the chase has been. Negotiations with Salah and his camp have been ongoing “for some time”, he explained, with both sides going over the structure of a potential deal and the financial demands surrounding it.

The talks reached their decisive phase in recent days.

“In the final stage, we discussed the demands of the player and his representatives from all angles,” Adali said, describing a process in which Besiktas weighed every amendment requested since the start of discussions against the club’s own interests. After that internal reckoning, the board signed off on a last proposal.

That offer is now in Salah’s possession.

“After mutual negotiations, we submitted our final official offer. We also asked them to inform us of their decision within a short period,” Adali confirmed. The message is clear: Besiktas will not keep renegotiating. The terms are set, the deadline implied.

The Turkish club’s transfer operation, Adali stressed, “continues at full force”, but the Salah pursuit has reached a natural pause. From their perspective, the groundwork is done. The project has been sold, the numbers have been stretched, and the margin for compromise has been exhausted.

“Now the decision lies with the player,” he concluded.

Salah has been consistently linked with a move to Besiktas throughout the current window, his name circling around Istanbul as the club look for a marquee attacking signing to anchor their ambitions.

According to respected Italian journalist Nicolo Schira, Besiktas have already reached an agreement on personal terms with Salah and his agent. The proposed deal is a one-year contract, reportedly worth up to €12 million, a figure that underlines just how serious the Turkish side are about landing one of the modern game’s elite forwards.

Besiktas have made their play. The offer will not get bigger.
