Chelsea are making plans to strengthen their midfield late in the summer transfer window by pursuing Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga. This move comes after Bournemouth firmly rejected three bids for Alex Scott, who was a primary target for the Blues.

Chelsea Shifts Focus to Camavinga

The west London club's interest in Scott was halted when Bournemouth insisted the 23-year-old midfielder was not for sale, despite Chelsea offering up to £68 million. With no deal forthcoming, Chelsea redirected their attention to Camavinga, the France international currently at Madrid. There has been speculation about Camavinga leaving the Santiago Bernabeu since Jose Mourinho took charge of Real Madrid. Previously, Manchester United showed interest in the player before signing Carlos Baleba from Brighton.

Enzo Fernandez, valued at £120 million by Chelsea, wants to leave the club this summer. The Argentine midfielder expressed his desire to exit early in the window, with hopes of joining Real Madrid falling through. Despite this, there remains a possibility of a last-minute transfer. Manchester City and their manager, ex-Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca, are keen on signing Fernandez as they search for a replacement for Rodri, who recently moved to Barcelona for £65 million. City is also preparing to invest £86 million on Morocco’s Ayyoub Bouaddi but remain interested in Fernandez.
