Durand Cup 2026: Dates, Teams, Full Schedule, and TV Broadcast Information

The 135th Durand Cup kicked off on July 25 with the Kolkata derby between East Bengal FC and Mohun Bagan Super Giant. Featuring 24 teams competing across five cities from July 25 to August 23, this edition ranks among Asia's largest football tournaments.

Kolkata serves as the main center hosting matches at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan and Kishore Bharati Krirangan stadiums. The city will see two group stages, the opening match, two quarterfinals, one semifinal, and the final.

Matches also take place in Ranchi, Imphal, Guwahati, and Shillong. Ranchi is new to the lineup as a host city, with the Birsa Munda Stadium holding group matches from July 26 to August 16 plus one quarterfinal. Imphal’s Khuman Lampak Stadium hosts fixtures from July 28 to August 17 along with a quarterfinal. Shillong’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium features games from July 31 to August 20 including a semifinal, and Guwahati’s Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium holds group-stage matches from August 1 to 13.

Teams Participating

Seventeen-time champions Mohun Bagan Super Giant and sixteen-time winners East Bengal FC headline the Kolkata groups alongside Mohammedan SC, South United FC, CISF Protectors, and debutants Baghpat FC and Samaleswari Sporting.

Jamshedpur FC, Sporting Club Delhi, and Indian Air Force compete in Ranchi joined by Sri Lanka’s Defenders FC.

TRAU FC, NEROCA FC, and Indian Navy play in Imphal with newcomers FC Raengdai, who were last season’s I-League 3 runners-up.

Shillong Lajong FC, Langsning FC, Nongkseh SS&CC, and debutants Mumbay FC form the Shillong group.

Defending champions NorthEast United FC lead the Guwahati group alongside FC1, Bodoland FC, and Karbi Anglong Morning Star FC.
