Ferran Torres Set for €50m Transfer from Barcelona to PSG

Ferran Torres is closing in on a move that could reshape two dressing rooms at once. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are finalizing a €50 million agreement that would send the Spanish forward to the French champions, with only the fine print left to sign off.

According to MARCA, talks are in an advanced stage after Ferran gave PSG the green light, having already accepted the contract terms proposed by the reigning two-time European champions. Once his approval landed on the table, negotiations accelerated.

Barcelona expect to receive a package worth €50 million for a player who has just one year remaining on his deal. The last details revolve around how that fee will be structured and what add-ons might be attached, but there is confidence at Barça that the total value will hit that figure.

The move has gathered pace over the past week. Ferran publicly opened the door to a Camp Nou exit with comments about his future, a shift in tone that did not go unnoticed. PSG reacted immediately once it became clear the forward was genuinely open to a change of scenery and to life in Paris.

Luis Enrique’s side have been forced back into the market for attacking depth. With Gonçalo Ramos and Randal Kolo Muani both sold this summer, PSG needed a new backup striker, and the coach has specifically requested Ferran as the profile he wants to plug that gap.

All that remains is timing. The deal is expected to be made official next week, once Ferran returns from his post-World Cup vacation and can put a formal end to his Barcelona chapter. Then, if everything stays on track, his next step will be the Parc des Princes.
