Hannah Hampton Signs Two-Year Deal with Chelsea

Chelsea have locked down the safest pair of hands in the women’s game. Hannah Hampton, England’s first-choice goalkeeper and a cornerstone of club and country, has signed a new two-year contract in west London.

“I don't want that journey to stop and I want to continue to grow more and learn more as a person. I know there is so much more I can achieve and so much more, we as a team, can achieve.

“I am going to do everything I can to help Chelsea get back to being as successful as we have been in the past.”

Keeping the spine of the squad intact is the first step in any reset, and Hampton’s signature sits alongside those of fellow England internationals Lucy Bronze and Aggie Beever-Jones, who have also agreed fresh terms this summer. Hampton’s record in blue already reads like a career scrapbook. She helped drive Chelsea to an unbeaten domestic treble in 2024-25, a campaign that showcased not only her shot-stopping but her command of the penalty area and calm distribution under pressure.
