The 24-year-old versatile player has agreed to a four-year contract at the MKM Stadium, with an option for an additional year. This signing marks the Tigers' seventh addition this summer as they prepare for their Premier League return.
Proven Track Record with Mjallby
Stroud arrives boasting a strong record, having scored 19 goals and contributed 13 assists across 87 league appearances for Mjallby. He played a significant role in the club's success, helping them secure the 2025 Allsvenskan title and the Svenska Cupen trophy.
International Experience and World Cup Impact
His domestic achievements paved the way for inclusion in Sweden's 2026 World Cup squad, where Stroud featured in four matches as his nation advanced to the round of 32. On joining Hull City, he shared on the club’s official website, "I am super happy and super excited to get started here. When I first heard of the interest, it was the only thing I wanted to do. I have individual hopes to play at the highest level possible. When an opportunity like this comes, it's not something you take lightly. To do it here in Hull is an exciting opportunity."
Ambitions for Premier League Success
Stroud reflected on his World Cup experience and future aims, saying, "The World Cup was an amazing experience. To represent your country in a World Cup is the biggest honour you can have as a player. It was a dream of mine to play in the Premier League. I am super excited to get this opportunity and hopefully create something magical this season."

The arrival of Stroud adds to a summer influx that includes Jack Butland, Oscar Zambrano, Matt Targett, Hidemasa Morita, Konstantinos Tzolakis, and Jens Hjerto-Dahl. The club continues to explore options to deepen their squad before the transfer window closes.
