Liverpool Signs Spanish Midfielder Natalia Ramos for Summer Rebuild

Liverpool have added Spanish midfielder Natalia Ramos to their growing summer rebuild, prising her from CD Tenerife Femenino on a permanent deal, subject to visa approval and international clearance.

The 27-year-old arrives as the Reds’ sixth signing of a busy window, a statement of intent in the middle of the pitch. She does not come lightly tested. Ramos leaves Tenerife having passed the 200-game mark for the club, a mainstay across seasons and divisions, and last year alone she featured 30 times in Spain’s top flight, contributing 10 goals and five assists from midfield.

“I'm really, really happy," she said, emotion clear as she spoke about the switch. "I'm very excited to achieve this new step in my life and I'm very grateful for this new opportunity.

“For me it was a very easy decision and I'm very, very happy, with a lot of feelings and emotions because I know who the club is, the respect [it has].

“I feel very happy and privileged to take this shirt and sign at the club.”

Liverpool are not just signing experience; they are bringing in a player steeped in Spain’s youth success. Ramos has represented her country at Under-17 and Under-19 level and was part of the Spain squad that lifted the 2017 Women's European Under-19 Championship in Northern Ireland, a tournament that helped shape a generation now influencing the senior game.

Her arrival continues a clear pattern. Liverpool have been relentless in reshaping their squad this summer, and Ramos follows Mao Itamura, Vivien Endemann, Sara Agrez, Mari Ward and Khiara Keating through the door.
