Rafael Leao Trains with Corinthians Amid Milan Exit Talks
Rafael Leao’s summer has barely begun, but the Milan forward is already back on the grass – and in a different shade of black and white.
The Portuguese winger, fresh from World Cup duty with Portugal at the 2026 tournament, has been training at Corinthians’ facilities in Brazil while on holiday, even pulling on the Brazilian club’s jersey during the session.
Corinthians’ official X account shared images of the 27-year-old working at the club’s training centre, dressed in the Timão shirt and going through drills as if in pre-season rather than on a break. Leao also took time to meet Corinthians players and staff, chatting and posing for photos during his visit.
There is no suggestion of a move to São Paulo, but the pictures arrive at a delicate moment in his career. Leao is expected to leave Milan this summer, having already held talks with the club about a possible exit earlier in the week. For now, though, his market is quieter than many anticipated.
So far, the only concrete offer has come from Fenerbahce, a proposal Leao is not willing to accept. That leaves his future open and his next step unresolved, even as he continues to prepare as though the new season were around the corner.
By the end of the month, Leao will be back in Italy to resume work with Milan. Whether that return marks the start of another chapter at San Siro or simply a staging point before a major move remains the looming question of his summer.
