Top 10 Premier League Managers Ranked

Since the Premier League began in 1992, only thirteen managers have won the title. Four of them have won more than once, so the usual suspects top any list you make. Still, where each stands and who fills the top ten sparks plenty of debate.

Longevity plays a part too. David Moyes has managed 755 Premier League games, trailing only Arsene Wenger's 828 and Sir Alex Ferguson's 810. Moyes ranks third in total wins with 291, but that falls short of Wenger's 476 and Ferguson's 528. Pep Guardiola has nearly the same number of wins as Moyes but from far fewer matches.

Harry Redknapp also features prominently with the fourth-most games (641) and fifth-most wins (236), plus a spot in the top five for goals scored (818). Win percentage offers another angle; Mauricio Pochettino stands out among those with over 100 games by winning more than half his matches despite never clinching the title.

Still, to make this list, winning the Premier League crown is essential.

Exclusions and Close Calls

Arne Slot, Liverpool's current manager, is the first to miss out. Manuel Pellegrini and Antonio Conte also fall just short. Pellegrini impressed at Manchester City before Guardiola took over and also holds a high goals-per-game average, but struggles at West Ham dent his case. Conte had highs and lows at Chelsea and Tottenham but didn’t reach the top ten here.
