Anderson Talisca Leaves Fenerbahce for Al-Jazira Move

Anderson Talisca’s brief spell at Fenerbahce is over. The Brazilian forward has left the Istanbul giants after the two parties agreed to terminate his contract.

Fenerbahce announced the decision on X, confirming that Talisca, who arrived in the mid-season window of the 2024–2025 campaign, has mutually ended his deal with the club. The statement was short and to the point, closing with a standard farewell: the club wished him success in the next chapter of his career.

That next chapter is already taking shape.

According to Transfermarkt, citing respected journalist Resat Can Ozbudak, Talisca has reached an agreement to join UAE side Al-Jazira. The move would reunite him with another Brazilian attacker, Malcom, the former Al-Hilal winger, in what promises to be one of the league’s most eye-catching attacking partnerships.

Ozbudak reports that Al-Jazira have lined up a two-year contract for Talisca, with an option for a third season. The deal is lucrative: the 30-year-old is expected to earn a total annual salary slightly above €10 million.

For now, only the formalities stand between Talisca and his new adventure in Abu Dhabi. He must complete his medical and sign the final paperwork.

Once that ink dries, one of the Gulf region’s most explosive attacking duos will be officially in business.
