Arsenal Keep Pursuing Bradley Barcola Despite Missing Out on Morgan Rogers

Arsenal continue to eye Bradley Barcola, the 23-year-old attacker from Paris Saint-Germain, despite recently losing out on Morgan Rogers to Chelsea. The French forward has caught attention after an impressive World Cup showing where he scored three goals in eight matches for France, boosting his profile across Europe.

According to Sky Sports News, PSG might allow Barcola to leave if they receive a good offer before the transfer deadline. The club is reportedly pushing to bring in Yan Diomande, which could lead to Barcola seeking more regular playing time elsewhere. Currently, Barcola ranks behind Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Desire Doue in PSG’s lineup, though the club values him and ideally wants to keep him.

Arsenal's Search for Attacking Options

The Gunners failed to secure Morgan Rogers, who chose Chelsea instead after leaving Aston Villa. This setback hasn’t stopped Arsenal from pursuing other attackers, and they are close to signing Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for around 34 million euros. Tzolis is expected to fill the void left by Leandro Trossard’s departure.

Competition from Liverpool

Liverpool are also keen on Barcola as they reshape their attack this summer. Having already signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna, the Reds want to add more firepower ahead of Mohamed Salah’s eventual exit. Liverpool admires Barcola but faces challenges in agreeing on a financially suitable deal with PSG. Manager Andoni Iraola has openly expressed the need to bring in another wide player, and Liverpool has also shown interest in Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche.
