Chelsea Sets £120m Transfer Deadline for Enzo Fernandez Amid Man City Interest

This deadline is public because Chelsea has informed both Fernandez and his representatives of the player’s valuation since May.

Enzo Maresca, starting his first season as Pep Guardiola’s successor at City after leaving Chelsea mid-2025/26, is eager to reunite with Fernandez, who was one of his key players at Stamford Bridge. Fernandez has shown versatility in central midfield roles. While rarely deployed purely as an attacking midfielder, he has scored 31 goals and provided 29 assists in 167 appearances since his £106.8m arrival from Benfica in January 2023.
