Amara Nallo, a 19-year-old defender from Liverpool, appears close to joining Finnish club HJK Helsinki on loan. Nallo has spent three years at Liverpool after moving from West Ham United. His debut was notable for a red card against PSV Eindhoven in the 2024-25 Champions League season.

The young centre-back also received a red card in last season's EFL Cup clash with Crystal Palace, making his only clean first-team appearance a 6-0 Champions League victory over Qarabag in January. Despite Ibrahima Konate leaving Liverpool, Nallo’s chances to break into the first team next season would have been slim, prompting this temporary move, according to journalist Eetu Ikola.

Nallo is already listed on HJK's UEFA squad as they prepare to face Coleraine in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. The details of the loan deal remain unclear, including whether it includes a purchase option. Nallo's contract with Liverpool runs for another two years.

Issa Diop Completes Transfer to Ipswich Town

Ipswich Town has officially signed centre-back Issa Diop from Fulham. The 29-year-old defender spent four seasons at Craven Cottage, featuring in 96 matches and scoring three goals, but he struggled to secure a regular starting spot behind Calvin Bassey and Joachim Andersen. Last season, he started just eight Premier League games out of 13 appearances.

Diop, a Morocco international who helped his country reach the quarter-finals of the 2026 World Cup with a crucial goal against the Netherlands, has agreed to a four-year contract with Ipswich. The club reportedly paid around £8.6 million to sign him.

"I'm excited to take the next step in my career at Ipswich Town. I know how big the club is and have enjoyed all of the conversations I have had before making the move. I know this is the right place for me," Diop said on the club's official site.

Besiktas Shows Interest in Newcastle Midfielder Joe Willock

Joe Willock, 26, is attracting attention from Turkish side Besiktas. The midfielder had limited Premier League starts last season due to competition in Newcastle’s midfield but still made 39 appearances across all competitions. With only one year left on his contract and no renewal in sight, Willock could leave St James' Park.

Journalist Luke Edwards reports that Besiktas are actively pursuing the former Arsenal player, and Newcastle has decided against offering a new contract. Negotiations over a transfer fee are underway; Newcastle originally paid £25.1 million for Willock in 2021 after a successful loan spell.

Willock scored in seven consecutive Premier League games during the latter part of the 2020-21 season and has accumulated 19 goals and 11 assists in 182 appearances for Newcastle.

Fulham Enter Talks for Real Madrid's Gonzalo Garcia

Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa wants to bring striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid to Craven Cottage. Garcia impressed during the 2025 Club World Cup with four goals and an assist in six matches but found it tough to secure regular playing time last season. He scored eight goals and provided three assists over 39 games.

Garcia's contract with Real Madrid runs until 2030 following a recent extension. The Athletic reports talks have started, with Arbeloa involved. Although the current Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho supports Garcia, he cannot guarantee him more minutes and won’t block a move.

Real Madrid is reportedly seeking some form of future benefit from any deal, possibly a buyback clause, first refusal, or a percentage of a future sale.
