32. Gareth Southgate
Before managing England, Gareth Southgate earned 57 caps as a dependable centre-back and occasional defensive midfielder. He featured prominently in Euro 96 and won the League Cup with both Aston Villa and Middlesbrough, reaching the UEFA Cup final in 2006.
31. Gary Stevens
One of two Gary Stevens in England's 1986 World Cup squad, this right-back played 46 times for the Three Lions and appeared at Euro 1988 and the 1990 World Cup. With Everton, he won two First Division titles, the FA Cup, and the Cup Winners' Cup, earning three PFA Team of the Year selections between 1985 and 1988.
30. Trent Alexander-Arnold
