Inter Milan's Move for Curtis Jones Amid Frattesi Deal
Inter Milan’s pursuit of Curtis Jones has taken a decisive step, with movement around Davide Frattesi potentially opening the door for the Liverpool midfielder to head to San Siro.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano reports that Lazio have approached Inter over a deal for Frattesi. If the Nerazzurri cash in, it would free up both space and resources in Simone Inzaghi’s midfield, bringing Jones sharply back into focus.
Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari of TV Dello Sport backs that up, stating that Inter have never really stepped away from the Liverpool man. Inside the club, Jones is still viewed as the priority target for the middle of the pitch.
“Curtis Jones remains Inter's first choice for the midfield. The ongoing work on the departures (Frattesi and others) will lead the Nerazzurri to relaunch talks with Liverpool to get closer to the Reds' demands,” Longari reports.
On the player’s side, the message is just as clear. Jones has already given his approval to the move and wants the transfer, leaving the two clubs to fight it out over the numbers.
If Inter can strike a deal for Frattesi and push Liverpool closer to their valuation, this is a saga that suddenly looks ready to ignite.
