Liverpool's Ambitious Winger Pursuit: Sarr and Minteh Before Deadline

Liverpool are trying to rip up their forward line in the space of 36 frantic hours – and they want two more wingers to finish the job.

According to Foot Mercato journalist El-Hadji Loum, Liverpool would love to bring in both Ismaila Sarr and Yankuba Minteh before Tuesday night’s transfer deadline. The ambition is clear. The problem is the budget.

Barcola in, Gakpo out, and a race against the clock

Liverpool are on the verge of unveiling Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain as their marquee summer signing. The France international is expected to be confirmed shortly, but those inside Anfield do not see him as the final piece.

Liverpool have already seen a £60m bid rejected for Minteh. To sign both Sarr and Minteh now would mean another nine-figure outlay in the closing hours of the market – more than £100m on top of what is already committed.
