Luis Enrique Signs New PSG Contract Until 2030

Paris St-Germain have moved to secure the architect of their recent dominance, with Luis Enrique agreeing a new three-year contract that ties him to the club until 2030.

The 56-year-old Spaniard, appointed in July 2023, has turned PSG into Europe’s benchmark side. Under his watch, the club have lifted back-to-back Champions League trophies and claimed three Ligue 1 titles, delivering the kind of sustained success the Qatari project had long chased but never fully grasped.

His previous deal was due to run out at the end of this season. PSG chose their moment carefully. The extension was announced in the build-up to Friday night’s home league game against Monaco, a statement to their domestic rivals and the rest of Europe that the current era is no short-lived surge.

The commitment does not stop at the touchline.

PSG have also moved decisively to lock in a key slice of their future dressing room. Joao Neves, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo and Senny Mayulu have all signed fresh contracts running until 2031, underlining the club’s intent to build a long-term core around Luis Enrique’s ideas rather than constantly reshaping the squad.

Midfielder Fabian Ruiz has also agreed a new deal, extending his stay until 2028 and adding further stability to a spine that has already delivered heavily on the pitch.

PSG have chased continuity for years. Now they have it — in the dugout and on the team sheet — and the rest of Europe will have to work out how to break a project that finally looks built to last.
