Manchester United Eye Barcelona's Marc Bernal for Midfield Rebuild

Manchester United are tracking Barcelona midfielder Marc Bernal as they weigh up their next move in a long-term rebuild of their engine room.

The 19-year-old has been flagged as a serious option, according to GiveMeSport, with United now tilting their recruitment towards younger profiles who can grow into mainstays of the first team rather than short-term fixes.

Clubs see a modern midfielder: physically imposing, comfortable receiving under pressure, and reliable in possession. For United, he profiles as someone who could eventually take on a central role as the current core ages and evolves.
