Manchester United Set to Sign Sweden Winger Monica Jusu Bah

Manchester United are set to add serious pace and power to their attack after agreeing terms to sign Sweden winger Monica Jusu Bah from BK Hacken.

The 23-year-old is expected to complete the move before next Thursday’s Women’s Super League transfer deadline, with only the final formalities left before she becomes United’s latest arrival.

Jusu Bah is under a long contract in Sweden. She signed an extension with BK Hacken in September 2025, tying her to the club until 2028, so United will pay a transfer fee, though the exact figure has not been disclosed.

Her entire senior career has unfolded in Sweden. She first broke through at Umea, catching the eye with her direct running, before earning a move to BK Hacken in 2023, where her trajectory accelerated.

In May, she helped BK Hacken lift the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup, adding European silverware to her growing CV and underlining her readiness for a bigger stage.

On the international front, Jusu Bah has made 11 appearances for Sweden and featured in all six of their Women’s World Cup qualifying matches this year, underlining her status as a regular part of the national setup.

United are not done yet. The club are understood to be pushing to bring in at least one more signing before the window shuts next week as they reshape the squad for the season’s run-in.

The deal for Jusu Bah continues a busy window for United, who have already strengthened at both ends of the pitch with defender Andrea Medina arriving from Atletico Madrid and goalkeeper Janina Leitzig joining from Leicester City.

If United get this over the line and add one more before the deadline, their attack – and their ambitions – will look very different by the time the WSL resumes.
