Michael Olise Faces Allegations of Failing to Support Daughter
Michael Olise’s summer break has been hit by serious off‑field allegations, with a German woman claiming the Bayern Munich and France star has failed to support or contact their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter despite, she says, acknowledging paternity.
The woman, 34-year-old Fatima Zaunbrecher, has gone public with her story, posting a series of videos on Instagram under the handle @fati.zahara. In them, she names Olise as the father of her daughter, Aaliyah Noor Olise, and lays out a stark picture of life raising the child alone.
“He Didn’t Send Anything”
Zaunbrecher says she and Olise were in a relationship from 2022, lasting around two years before they split. Shortly after the separation, she says she discovered she was pregnant. A DNA test later confirmed, she claims, that Olise is Aaliyah’s father.
According to Zaunbrecher, Olise has formally acknowledged paternity. That, she insists, is where his involvement has ended.
She alleges that he has never met Aaliyah, has not called her, and has not voluntarily contributed financially to her upbringing. In one of her videos, she describes an attempt to secure an interim child-support payment of €2,000 while a court process was pending.
She says her former lawyer contacted Olise’s legal team with the proposal and provided her bank details for payment.
“He didn’t send anything,” she says in the video, adding that she felt she had “given him a chance” to step up. Instead, she claims, he “completely ignored” the request and criticises his lawyers in strong terms.
With no money coming in from the player, Zaunbrecher says she has taken on two jobs to keep up with the costs of raising her daughter.
“I’m Raising Our Child Alone”
The most pointed parts of her message are reserved for what she portrays as the contrast between her daily reality and Olise’s lifestyle.
“I’m raising our child alone while her father is partying and inviting women and doing the most and is not paying any dime for his own daughter,” she says.
Zaunbrecher also disputes any suggestion that Olise has tried to reach out.
“Since that day, he hasn’t paid anything, and he didn’t call his daughter. But he said in the statement that he wanted to contact his daughter and me. That doesn’t make any sense.”
Her focus, she stresses, is on securing support for Aaliyah rather than dictating how Olise lives away from the pitch.
Holiday Spotlight After World Cup High
Olise is currently on holiday after a standout 2026 World Cup with France, where he finished with a tournament-best seven assists as Les Bleus took fourth place. Clips of the Bayern winger relaxing in Turks and Caicos have circulated on social media in recent days, drawing even more attention to Zaunbrecher’s claims.
The contrast is striking: a player enjoying the glow of a breakout international tournament, and a mother alleging she is juggling two jobs to raise their daughter without help.
Olise has not publicly responded to the latest round of social media videos. The legal situation around the case, including any ongoing proceedings in Germany or elsewhere, has not been detailed by Zaunbrecher beyond her reference to a proposed interim payment and a future court determination.
On the pitch, Olise’s stock has rarely been higher. Off it, he now faces questions that will not be settled by a clever assist or a curled shot into the top corner.
