Osman Foyo Joins Rhode Island FC After AFC Wimbledon Stint
Osman Foyo, the striker who played for AFC Wimbledon, has signed permanently with USL Championship team Rhode Island FC. The 21-year-old forward originally joined Wimbledon in January 2025, arriving from Ipswich Town.
During his time at Wimbledon, Foyo made a total of 15 appearances. He contributed six games as the club earned promotion to League One. In the following season, he featured in nine matches and also spent some time on loan with Sutton United in the National League, where he netted two goals across ten appearances.
The move marks a new chapter for Foyo as he transitions to American soccer with Rhode Island FC after his stint in England’s lower leagues.
