Pape Matar Sarr Joins Juventus on Loan from Tottenham

Tottenham have agreed a deal with Juventus to send midfielder Pape Matar Sarr to Turin on loan, with a £25.7million option to buy at the end of the season.

The move is part of a late-window shake-up under Roberto De Zerbi, who is braced for multiple departures as he looks to reshape his squad before the deadline.

Sarr set for Juventus switch

Standard Sport understands Spurs have struck terms with Juventus for Sarr’s season-long loan, including a clause that would allow the Italian club to make the transfer permanent next summer.

Sarr has been carrying a minor injury, but De Zerbi said the midfielder is “almost ready to train”, and the expectation is that the deal will move quickly once the final details are signed off.

Moore to Koln, Souza to Porto

Tottenham have also approved a loan move for highly rated youngster Mikey Moore, who is set to join Bundesliga side Koln for the season in search of regular senior football.

Left-back Souza is heading to Porto on loan until the end of the campaign, another indication that Spurs are trimming numbers in specific areas to clear space for late reinforcements.

With players heading out, Tottenham are still pushing to bring in another attacker before the window closes. Talks remain ongoing with Everton over a deal for Iliman Ndiaye, with Spurs keen to add more cutting edge in the final third.

The Ndiaye discussions run alongside a separate negotiation between Everton and Spurs over a potential Goodison Park return for Richarlison, as the Merseyside club explore a move to re-sign the Brazilian forward.

De Zerbi lays down transfer stance

De Zerbi revealed over the weekend that Richarlison, Sarr and Kevin Danso have all made it clear they want to leave the club before the deadline, with centre-back Danso attracting loan interest from Sunderland.

“He said too many times that he wants to leave,” De Zerbi said of Richarlison. “Danso came to me two days ago, and he said he wants to leave, and Pape Sarr, the same, but he suffered a small injury, but he is almost ready to train.”

The Italian head coach made his position plain: anyone who wants out must bring a deal that works for Tottenham.

“I love these players, they are great guys, I have very good relationships, but if they want to leave, they have to bring the solution, the economic solution, to the club, and they can go, and we find other players.”

The message is blunt. If the exits line up financially, De Zerbi will not stand in their way – and Spurs will waste no time hunting their replacements.
