PSG Targets Akliouche to Reshape Attack

Paris Saint-Germain are on the brink of sealing another heavyweight move in the market, closing in on Monaco winger Akliouche in a deal that underlines Luis Enrique’s determination to keep his forward line among Europe’s most feared.

The transfer, described as imminent by Mundo Deportivo, has moved quickly. PSG identified the 24-year-old France international as a priority target for their attacking rotation and acted with the kind of decisiveness that has defined their recent business.

Barcola out, Akliouche in

His rise has been mirrored on the international stage. The 24-year-old has already collected ten senior caps for France, scoring once for Les Bleus. He was part of the France squad at the 2026 World Cup, making a late cameo in a 3-0 group-stage win over Iraq, replacing Barcola in the 83rd minute. Medical in Paris, contract to 2031

The deal has entered its final stretch. Akliouche travelled to Paris on Thursday to undergo his medical, the last formal hurdle before he can sign with the reigning European champions.

Once he passes those tests, the paperwork follows. The winger is expected to commit to a long-term contract running until June 2031, a clear statement that PSG view him as part of their core, not a short-term patch.
