2026 PFA Awards: Complete List of Winners

The 53rd Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Awards took place Tuesday evening at the Manchester Opera House. The event honored outstanding players across men’s and women’s football leagues in England for the 2025–26 season, including the Premier League, EFL Championship, League One, League Two, Women’s Super League (WSL), and WSL 2.

All awards, such as Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, and Team of the Year, were chosen by votes from fellow professional players.

Men’s Player of the Year

Bruno Fernandes, the midfielder from Manchester United, earned the men’s Player of the Year after setting a new Premier League record with 21 assists in a single season. He is the first Manchester United player to win this award since Wayne Rooney in 2010.

Women’s Player of the Year

Khadija “Bunny” Shaw from Manchester City claimed her second women’s Player of the Year title. She made history as the first to win three consecutive WSL golden boots, scoring 21 goals in 22 games and leading her team to the championship.

Dom Ballard, formerly of Leyton Orient and now at Bristol City, earned the League One Player of the Year title.

League Two Player of the Year

Aaron Drinan of Swindon Town was awarded League Two Player of the Year.
