Everton Targets Man United's Ethan Wheatley as PSG Eyes Ajax's Mika Godts

Everton is reportedly preparing to make an offer for Manchester United striker Ethan Wheatley before the summer transfer window shuts. The 20-year-old has made four senior appearances for United, including three in the Premier League during the 2023-24 season.

Wheatley has spent recent spells on loan at Walsall, Northampton Town, and Bradford City. A permanent move away from Old Trafford seems likely this summer, with interest coming from Championship clubs too. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano indicates that Everton is lining up a formal bid for Wheatley, who has also featured for England’s Under-20 team. Notably, he is absent from United’s current pre-season squad, hinting his exit is near.

PSG Near Agreement for Ajax’s Mika Godts

Paris Saint-Germain is close to securing a deal for Ajax attacker Mika Godts. Although Manchester United had been linked with Godts, reports say the 21-year-old has given the go-ahead to join PSG, the reigning European champions.

Negotiations between PSG and Ajax are ongoing, with Ajax reportedly seeking around £51.3 million (60 million euros) for the Belgium international. Godts has tallied 25 goals and 27 assists over 113 matches across all competitions with Ajax. His experience includes playing in both the Champions League and Europa League, bringing European competition know-how to PSG.

West Ham to Sell Dan Potts to Club Brugge

West Ham United has agreed to sell midfielder Dan Potts to Club Brugge for approximately £10.3 million (12 million euros). Potts, 22, remains under contract with West Ham until 2029 and was expected to be a key player in their Championship campaign.

Journalist Mike McGrath reports that Club Brugge sees Potts as the perfect replacement for Raphael Onyedika, who is moving to Eintracht Frankfurt. Potts has contributed one assist in 28 appearances for West Ham, 22 of which came in the Premier League.
