Hansi Flick has steered Barcelona to an unprecedented start this season by securing seven straight victories across all competitions. Their latest triumph was a stunning 7-2 home victory against Racing Santander, setting a new club record for the best opening run.

A New High for the Catalan Giants

This winning streak is a first in Barcelona’s history, surpassing the previous mark of six consecutive wins from the start of a season, a record matched only during the 1929/30, 1960/61, and 2018/19 campaigns. None of those teams managed to reach seven wins before a setback.

"I liked the way we played and the three points. I’m happy, we’re happy. It’s not easy to play against Racing," Flick shared after the match.

New signing Karim Adeyemi is slowly settling into the squad, with Flick praising his speed and overall impact on the pitch. Though still adapting tactically, Adeyemi is showing promise.

"He can improve and still needs to fully adapt to our way of playing, but he gives us a lot, as we saw today. I’m happy for him and I like what I see. He’s a fun player and a good guy who gives everything on the pitch. His pace is incredible," Flick commented.
