Knockaert Calls Pedro Ungrateful

After the game, Pedro clarified his intentions. Speaking to BBC Sport, he said his celebration is not aimed at any particular group but is just how he shows excitement when scoring. He stated, "I just celebrate, it could be any fans, any team. I just want to do my celebration." He wanted to move attention back to the team’s performance and progress under new manager Xabi Alonso.

Pedro also reflected on the match dynamics: "We started really well but then conceded goals. We should be more consistent and not give the opponents energy. Dibu [Emiliano Martinez] again showed his quality. Step by step, we will achieve our level."

Strong Start for Pedro and Chelsea

The Brazilian’s impact has been impressive, with two goals and two assists in his first two league appearances this season. Former Premier League striker Darren Bent praised Pedro’s skill, especially highlighting the build-up to Chelsea’s third goal involving Morgan Rogers and Jorrel Hato. Bent described the goal as a "really good finish," crediting the teamwork leading to it.
