It’s incredible. We are happy he could experience this before he passed. Football is about love, passion, and connection. That’s what he shared with you and will continue to spread through all of us. Long live Brest!”

Connection seemed the perfect theme for Brest, as the club moves forward under new head coach Julien Lachuer, who was an assistant under Roy. Rather than starting fresh, Brest is building on the foundation King Eric laid. This approach has led to a promising start in the league, although Les Pirates have earned just five points from four matches so far.
