Mikey Moore Joins FC Koln on Loan After Strong Season with Rangers

Tottenham Hotspur winger Mikey Moore has secured a season-long loan to Bundesliga club FC Koln following a standout year at Rangers. The 19-year-old impressed last season in Scotland, scoring seven goals and providing four assists. Now, he is set to gain more top-tier experience in Germany’s top division.

Loan Deal Confirmed

Moore officially joined Koln on loan from Tottenham after an impressive 2025-26 campaign at Rangers. During his time there, he made 47 appearances and earned the Young Player of the Year award. Having already played 21 senior games for Spurs, he aims to secure consistent first-team action in the Bundesliga.

Thomas Kessler, FC Koln’s sporting director, expressed excitement about bringing the young talent on board. He said:

The English winger spoke about what drew him to Koln, mentioning the club’s persistent interest and their attacking approach:

Debut Set Against VfB Stuttgart

Moore looks likely to make his Bundesliga debut when FC Koln faces VfB Stuttgart on Friday. Koln enters the match with confidence, having opened the season with wins in both the DFB-Pokal (2-1 vs Wurzburger Kickers) and the league (3-2 vs Hoffenheim). Moore will join fellow English players Reigan Heskey and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey in an attack aiming to maintain their unbeaten run.
