Paris Saint-Germain is reportedly one of several clubs aiming to sign Manchester United’s promising 15-year-old talent, JJ Gabriel, according to The Athletic. Alongside PSG, football giants like Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are also keen on securing the young winger.

Gabriel currently holds a contract with Manchester United until next June but has apparently expressed his wish to leave by submitting a resignation letter to the club's management. The Manchester board appears unwilling to accept this at face value, trying hard to convince their academy standout to remain.

The player will turn 16 on October 6, and if he holds either an Irish or Cypriot passport, reflecting his parents’ nationalities, he might be able to depart from the club where he developed through the youth ranks.

Reasons Behind Gabriel’s Decision

Regarded as one of the brightest prospects in United’s academy, Gabriel’s frustration seems to stem from limited first-team opportunities. Although included in Michael Carrick’s pre-season squad, the teenager has yet to make a professional appearance this season. He especially hoped to be named for the Champions League match against Sabah FC but was not selected.
