The much-awaited boxing match between Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua finally has a confirmed date and location. Fans have been eager to know when and where this historic British heavyweight showdown will take place.

After months of intense negotiations over the fight's timing and place, the details have emerged. Both fighters signed their contracts back in April, but discussions continued as promoters debated the ideal setting for the bout. Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, insisted the fight should stay in the UK, rejecting proposals to move it to the United States despite offers from TKO boss Dana White.

Cardiff to Host the Fight on December 11

American sports journalist Dan Rafael shared an update via X, revealing that if everything is finalized soon, the clash will be held on December 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff. This venue previously hosted Joshua's victory against Joseph Parker in 2018 and Joe Calzaghe's win over Mikkel Kessler in 2007.

Other proposed dates included November 28 and December 4, but December 11 appears most likely. Rafael added that official permits are still being processed, with confirmation expected next week. Eddie Hearn clarified that Dana White will not be promoting the fight.

Hearn said to iFL TV: "Dana White has tried to get involved in a fight that he has nothing to do with and to get Sela to break their contract, scrap a British fight, and bring it to America. He thinks that he’s not causing a problem in this fight? All we have ever done is said, ‘We’ve signed our contract. Just honour the contract that we’ve signed."

He added: "We’ve never done anything else and what he can’t get his head around is that Anthony Joshua won’t take a little bit more money to do the fight in America, because he cares. He cares where the fight is. He cares about British boxing, and he cares about the contract that he signed."
