Al-Hilal’s perfect start to the Roshn League season shattered before a ball was even kicked.

During the warm-up, Yassine Bounou pulled up injured. One moment the Moroccan was preparing for another routine night behind a dominant side; the next he was limping off, leaving Simone Inzaghi with no choice but to throw Mohammed Al-Owais into the firing line at the last second.
