PSG's Senny Mayulu Injured During France U21 Match
Senny Mayulu, the 20-year-old midfielder from Paris Saint-Germain, suffered an injury while playing for France's U21 team. The match, overseen by coach Gérald Baticle, ended in a 2-0 victory against Estonia on Tuesday, but it came with some unfortunate injuries.
The most concerning injury was to Lille OSC's Ethan Mbappé, who left the game early after an ankle injury. Later on, Mayulu also had to leave the pitch shortly before halftime. Baticle explained that Mayulu was experiencing pain in his left thigh and was substituted as a safety measure to avoid further harm.
So far this season, Mayulu has had limited appearances for Les Parisiens, featuring in only four matches across all competitions and even missing out on some matchday squads. His injury now puts his participation in the rest of the international break in doubt.
