Now they run into the division’s most explosive attack.

Strasbourg are purring. Six goals past ESTAC Troyes last weekend, a ruthless dismantling that underlined their threat. A week earlier, a 2-1 win over RC Lens at the Meinau reminded everyone they can bloody the noses of the league’s heavyweights on home turf.

The visitors do have a problem. Mamadou Coulibaly is out with a quadriceps injury, a real blow for a side that has thrived on continuity under Luís. Monaco have been almost unchanged during this perfect run; now the new coach must tweak a winning formula for the first time.

Le Racing, by contrast, are stable. No fresh injuries, no key returns. The same group that hit six last weekend is ready to go again in front of a febrile Meinau crowd.
